Electronic and Electric Engineering Department

    The department of Electronic and Electric Engineering, which was established, comprises three bachelor¡¯s  degree programs: Electronic information Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Automation and Communication Engineering.The department has about more than 30 faculty members, which continuously provides about thousands of talents for the Xiamen Special economic Zone during the 23years.

    Currently, the department has a total enrollment of 782 students. It provides several professional lessons, such as Theory of Electrical & Magnetic circuit, Electronic Circuit, Digital Circuit, Fundamentals of Mono-chip Computers, Printing circuit board &CAD, Electronic measurement, Household Appliances Maintenance, C Language Program Designing, Principles of Television, Automatic control Technique, Basis of Software Technique, Basis of Office Automation,  Circuit Analysis, Principle of Micro-computer, Introduction to Computers, Data Structure, Disk Operating System, Basis of Application of Database, Large Principle of Data, Technology of Computer Networks, Technology of Multimedia, Software Engineering, Technology of Interface, CAD, Enterprise Management, Maintenance of Computers, Factory Power Supply, Electric Appliance for control, Technology of alternating current, Electrical Towage, technology of Electronic Application, PCB.

    The department of Electronic and Electric Engineering has full equipped laboratory, which gets a reputation for high efficiency, great quality and normative management during the provincial valuation in 1999. Also, the department makes a Co-operative Education contract with ABB Group, which is one of The World¡¯s top 500 in June, 2005. And we set up ABB Switch Scholarship to rewards outstanding students in the department of Electric engineering & Automation and Mechanical Engineering & Automation.

    During more twenty years, the branch of the Communist Party in the department of Electronic and Electric Engineering got a series of glorious honors. And among the full-time faculty and researchers, many people have received several awards from different state.
